"Dustin's Creative Work" (Pictures) : brought to you by, S.M.A.A.R.T.Mom

Here are some of the intriguing things our son has done. He amazes not only us but the school teachers, therapists, and doctors. His art has become so original some times that I always make sure I have my camera with me. Some times I even record his voice; well, just because I've waited so long to hear words I guess. Autism has been trying and touching too. I never know what to expect and I'm getting more O.K. with that these days. I just wanted to share some of our son's creative artwork. I hope you are impressed as much as we were. Autism in these moments are AWESOME!

Hi, I just came across your sight..My grandson has autism..He is high functioning.
He didn't talk until he was 3 years old..that was the first time he said mommy.
These kids sure do have artistic ability...Paris can draw like most people would dream of..

Hi Sheri,
Paris is such a pretty name. You should post some of her artwork on your   journal. I would be curious to see her talent. Do your children and grandchildren live near-by? Most of our family is up north so family support is unfortunately not something I get in person. I do o.k. inspite of it, but I sure wish we had more family near by. Sometimes a phone call helps ,but a mother's hug would be much nicer:) Thanks for your comment. Oh, Nice bike by the way. You sound like the type of person who is really adventuous at heart. Take Care.
