Gathering @ The Autism Speaks Walk 2013' Video :S.M.A.A.R.T.Mom's (NOV.) Mommy & ME Time-Out

              What a Fantastic day for this year's 2013' Autism Speaks Walk :) The temperature was wonderful and OMG! What a Tremendous turnout this year was! So many Teams supporting Autism ! "My V.C.R.is Broken. FIX IT! The REWARD Video: S.M.A.A.R.T.Mom's Successful Follow Up of September's Online Mommy Time-Out Video

Hello S.M.A.A.R.T.Moms!
This is a Follow Up to my September's Online Mommy Time-Out Video: My V.C.R. is Broken. FIX IT!
 I just had to share some pictures of Dustin's well deserved Chuck e Cheese Party!
Dustin has really done well picking out dvd's to replace his old vhs tapes which he is even donating to sick kids without sometimes swapping them out with a dvd. Keeping in mind my primary goal and that is for him to "willingly" give his vhs tapes to sick kids in order to earn his Chuck e Cheese Token . So even when he on occasion brings me a tape to give to the sick kids , I still reward him with a token. It's been great to see so many of those tapes disappear :) I gave him his 1st Chuck e Cheese Party after he donated 40 vhs tapes. Once he got the idea, he was well, on a roll (LOL) I'm so very Proud of how well he has adjusted to this transition of VHS to DVD. What I thought was going to be extremely difficult has turned out to be effortless.Thank GOD! So I decided to share some wonderful pics with all of you in hopes that it will inspire you to try this with your special someone get through this new technology change. In this month's video I talk about how I  transitioned  our son with autism from VCR Tapes to DVDs. Something I'm sure is going to be  an issue with most of my S.M.A.A.R.T.Mom families living with autism because of the fading out of the VCR's. I think I  may have found a helpful solution for those of you  who may be going through those Video Tape "Melt-Downs" as we speak. I hope my idea will help you like it has Dustin  and  I.
