Happy Halloween! Like every year we enjoy going to the Zoo Boo Bash. It has really been great therapy for Dustin and his fear of animals. He has become very comfortable with the animals. He doesn't touch the ones you're aloud to touch; however, he has expressed an interest which allows him to at least approach them closer than he ever has before. That's o.k. though, he's made soooo much progress and I'm more then patient because I know he will eventually and usually unexpectedly will amaze me and bring more tears of joy. So we will continue our trips to the Zoo and wait for those magic moments. By the way we do get dressed in costume and I really hope to encourage other moms and dads to reach within themselves and revisit their inner child and do the same. My sixteen year old daughter thinks I'm silly for dressing up with Dustin. I , on the other hand am a believer of living every moment as if it were my last, to truly enjoy life, and enjoy making those memorable moments. Oh, and yes, we go to our "usual" place to eat lunch (costume and all). People may think I'm "crazy" but that's alright. I am crazy. Crazy about my children:)
