Her youngest, who has autism, is 22 years old now. However, his mentality is of a 3-5 yr old child. Needless to say she's been living with autism long enough to know the difference between an "Autism Behavior" -VS- ""Severe Migraines", which is what she has always insisted was what her son was severely suffering from. After , going back a number of times to the ER , to the neurologist,etc. No body would listen or was able to help her son! She even video taped her son as hard as it was to do, of him literally throwing his head in to her wall because he was in so much pain and to visibly show the ER and doctors, she wasn't doing this to her son...He was doing this to himself. So, afraid he was going to knock himself unconscious, or worse (like some football players) incur a debilitating head injury. So, she did what she never thought she would do. After extensive research and especially after doctors highly suggested she place her son in a home/ facility where they could do more for him than she could!? This is a video you don't want to miss or share if God forbid you're a Mom, Dad, or Care Person, like her, who is terrified for your autistic loved one.
Angela says: "Doctors don't know everything! They had to learn what they know, just like everybody else. Majority of them don't know or live with autism! I can research, read, and learn just like they can! Sometimes, "Dr. MOM Knows What's Best" for their Guys & Girls! And this video is Proof of that. I just hope this video reaches families going though this and most of all the Doctors, who gave me the very upsetting and ultimate option of simply giving up on My Dustin. I Will Never do as long as I'm in this world and to suggest this...Well, They're just simply barking up the wrong Momma Tree!"</span><br />

This was a Mini-Moment I just had to share with all of you! Dustin (autistic) may be 19 yrs old , but he has the mind of a 5 year old. This year he seemed really fixated on seeing "Falling Snow." But how do I find that in Florida? Well Thanks to some Wonderful People, who may not realize what they have actually done for my son especially...I was able to bring Dustin Snow and so much more! I hope you enjoy this short video and share it too :) Big Hugs to Mr. & Mrs. Claus, The Leesburg Partnerships, and THE WQBQ 1410 AM Radio for a Christmas Stroll in Leesburg and for making Our Dreams Come True !

This Mini-Moment was something I'm so glad I caught on video!
If visiting with our grand daughter, Autumn wasn't a treat enough;
Dustin does something so out of character .....Well, needless to say,
this day was extremely heart-warming. Years ago, I would have never
thought I would see Dustin do this ! So Moms.... Never under-estimate
your child with autism's future. Hope you enjoy this Mini-Moment #2 ;)
Until Next Time! Big Big Hugs!

Happy New Year S.M.A.A.R.T.Moms!
I hope this video is going to help all of you start your New Year off with continuous success. This month I decided to accept a challenge that so many of us are sharing. How to teach our children, teens, or adults with autism to " Blow Their Nose." Well , I think I finally found a successful solution for my sister S.M.A.A.R.T.Moms everywhere and what wonderful timing considering it's flu and cold season. So without further delay I present (LOL)
P.S. These items are also very handy for "chewys" for those guys/ girls who need something to help calm them. Although be aware, that in My Dustin's case...He was fine chewing on them for a little while; but later, I had to resort to ,Yep, Dog Chews, because My Dustin was chewing those straws in to pieces. So please watch them if you do decide to also use these as chews., Who would of thought; a simple straw to have multiple purposes ? S.M.A.A.R.T.Mom of Course :) </span><br />

Another year has come and gone so quickly. Once again I'm a mom on a mission to find Snow and Santa for my now, 21year old son , Dustin who has autism. This year, after looking all over. I came across a place that seemed perfect. After, you watch the video......I'm sure you'll see that I obviously, made a great choice :) Merry Christmas to each of you who continue coming back to watch every moment I create only to bring you hope, inspiration, and maybe a glimpse in to the future. You're not alone. I'm Here. Hug You Soon! #SMAARTMom<br />

It can be scary, upsetting, and cause a lot of anxiety. This is just one of the things on top of venturing in to public places that we've tried to help Dustin either over come or tolerate. He's come a long way from staying in his room hiding under his blankets while holding me and shaking to.... As a mother , it has taken me over 15 years before I could actually watch the fireworks myself, rather than comforting my Dustin and missing every year's light show. So , if you are one of those Parents who missed the Lights this year because of those Autism Fears/Melt-Downs.....You're not alone. Here's to YOU , Your Brave son/daughter, and to a better 4th of July next year. Be patient, it'll come :) We don't always have a good turn-out ourselves with Dustin who is 21yrs old this August. But, we will continue to "Try" and Always remain Hopeful. </span><br />

(Strong Mothers Altering Autism's Reality Together)<br />
<br />
An Autism Mini-Moment is just that; a brief video that is amazingly filled with so much ! My son, Dustin in this video is 20 years old. These particular videos I created to show Moms like myself, who are feeling uncertain about their child's future who may have been recently diagnosed. So I'm offering you a glimpse into the future :) I'm offering YOU Video Proof that anything is possible in regards to AUTISM. So Don't Give Up and Keep On Trying! Unconditional Love, Patience , Consistency, & Hard Work will be so worth it! So I hope this little video makes you feel a little bit better Moms or Dads. If this makes you at least SMILE; this Mini Video was well worth creating just for YOU!<br />
Have a Magical Christmas & Memorable New Year!<br />
